Summer High School Programs

July-August 2008

During the summer, New York University's Tisch School of the Arts offers rising juniors and seniors in high school the chance to experience intensive training in the performing and visual arts. Programs are available in New York City, Dublin, and Paris. Each program, exclusively designed for high school students, is worth 6 college credits and is an outgrowth of the professional training offered in our B.F.A. degree programs. Our summer programs offer high school students an enriching and enlightening experience, a better understanding of the nature of a professional training program, and a sense of what the Tisch School and New York City, Dublin, and Paris have to offer. Field trips, guest lecturers, film screenings, and other activities supplement classroom learning to broaden students' creative expression.
