Five-week Academic ProgramThe Academy's five-week summer session is a co-educational program that balances academics and recreation for a fulfilling experience. Designed especially for students in grades 7-10, the academic program helps students prepare for their upcoming school year and for the academic experiences that lie ahead in secondary education. Our session is designed to assist and enrich students with daily monitoring of academic performance, individual attention, and a supportive faculty. Our class sizes are small (an average teacher to student ratio of 1 to 10) in order to provide each student with a personalized arena in which to explore his or her potential. In the evenings, students participate in a mandatory proctored study hall where further assistance from their teachers is available. Afternoon activities, special events, and weekend excursions allow each student the opportunity to take a break from scholastic responsibilities to experience lasting friendships. Students attending the academic session share a common desire to spend five weeks improving their study skills, strengthening their educational backgrounds, and having fun.
